Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of VaultKeep, published by VaultKeep Ltd (Company No. 17033775). By using VaultKeep, you agree to these terms.

VaultKeep Ltd grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use VaultKeep for personal use. Depending on your plan:

• Free: Use on any number of devices with limited features (up to 3 accounts, 5 holdings, 3 alternative assets, manual price entry only).
• VaultKeep (paid): Use on up to 5 devices with all features including automatic price feeds, AI assistant, Monte Carlo projections, profiles, and CSV export.

Your licence key can be activated on up to 5 devices. You can deactivate a device at any time via Settings to free up an activation slot. If you run out of slots, contact support@vaultkeep.co.uk. Your licence is verified when checking for app updates. No internet connection is required for day-to-day use.

VaultKeep is a portfolio tracking and visualisation tool. It helps you organise and view your financial information in one place.

VaultKeep is NOT a financial adviser, broker, investment platform, tax adviser, or regulated financial service. Nothing in VaultKeep constitutes financial advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any asset, or an endorsement of any investment strategy. VaultKeep is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

VaultKeep is available as a one-time purchase. Payment is processed by LemonSqueezy (a third-party payment processor). VaultKeep Ltd does not store your payment card details. Prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT where applicable.

Upon purchase, you will receive a licence key by email which activates VaultKeep on your device.

Digital content waiver: By activating your licence key, you expressly consent to the immediate supply of digital content and acknowledge that you lose your right of cancellation under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Statutory rights: This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If VaultKeep is defective (not of satisfactory quality, not fit for purpose, or not as described), you are entitled to:

• A repair or replacement within a reasonable time, at no cost to you.
• If repair or replacement is not possible or fails, a price reduction of up to a full refund.
• Refunds will be issued within 14 days of agreement via LemonSqueezy.

To request a remedy, email support@vaultkeep.co.uk with your licence key and a description of the issue.

• You are solely responsible for the accuracy of data you enter
• You are solely responsible for backing up your data (use the Export feature in Settings)
• You are responsible for your own investment decisions
• You must comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction
• You must not reverse-engineer, decompile, or redistribute VaultKeep
• You must not share your licence key publicly or sell access to it

All financial data is stored locally on your device and belongs to you. You can export your data at any time using the backup/export features in Settings. VaultKeep Ltd has no access to your financial data.

The AI assistant is a beta feature that uses third-party AI providers via your own API key (BYOK). AI responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. You must not rely on AI output for financial decisions. VaultKeep Ltd is not responsible for AI-generated content. The AI assistant may be modified or removed in future updates.

Prices are sourced from EODHD using your own API key (BYOK — Bring Your Own Key). Your device calls the EODHD API directly; price requests do not pass through VaultKeep servers. Prices may be delayed by up to 30 minutes, inaccurate, or unavailable. Always verify prices with your broker or exchange before making any trading decisions.

All projections, Monte Carlo simulations, rebalancing calculations, and portfolio analytics are hypothetical mathematical illustrations based on data you provide and historical averages. They are not predictions, guarantees, or recommendations. Actual results will vary.

VaultKeep may check for updates on launch and display a banner when a new version is available. Updates are downloaded and installed only when you click “Update Now.” You may dismiss the banner to skip an update.

VaultKeep works offline for all core features. Price feeds, licence validation, and the AI assistant require an internet connection. If our price server is temporarily unavailable, cached prices will be displayed. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of server-dependent features.

VaultKeep is intended for users aged 18 and over. By using VaultKeep, you confirm you are at least 18 years old.

Certain features (including the AI assistant and experimental dashboard panels) are designated as beta. Beta features are provided “as is” and may be modified, suspended, or removed without notice. VaultKeep Ltd makes no warranties regarding beta features.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VaultKeep Ltd's total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to your use of VaultKeep shall not exceed the amount you paid for your licence.

VaultKeep Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to financial losses, loss of data, or loss of profits.

VaultKeep Ltd is not liable for any loss or damage caused by third-party services (LemonSqueezy, EODHD, AI providers, Cloudflare).

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (c) any matter which it would be illegal to exclude or attempt to exclude liability for.

VaultKeep uses open-source software components licensed under the MIT licence, including React, Zustand, Recharts, Vite, Tailwind CSS, and Tauri. Full licence texts are available in the THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES.txt file distributed with the application.

VaultKeep and the VaultKeep name and logo are the property of VaultKeep Ltd. All rights reserved.

Sections 4 (What VaultKeep Is Not), 7 (Your Responsibilities), 9 (AI Assistant), 16 (Limitation of Liability), and 18 (Intellectual Property) survive termination of this agreement.

VaultKeep Ltd may terminate your licence if you breach these terms. Upon termination, you must delete all copies of VaultKeep from your devices.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
